“If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together”

We are proud to partner with some of the best Associations in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to provide our students with an extensive network of training, information and experience.

Lead by Professor Ryan Courtney (Crossover BJJ co-owner, Head Instructor & 2nd Degree Black Belt; awarded by BJJ Master Rigan Machado)- the RCBJJ Association provides proven curriculum and innovative training methods developed over Professor Courtney’s 15 years of teaching, training and competing in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. The RCBJJ prides itself not just on high-quality Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu but providing members with a honest, no nonsense training experience; free of the Jiu-Jitsu politics found within some Associations.

Code 4 Concepts Police Jiu-Jitsu Affiliate

In addition to our BJJ Affiliations with Team Rigan Machado and RCBJJ, our Academy is one of the select C4C PJJ (Code4Concepts Police Jiu-Jitsu) Affiliates in the country; with our own Coach Bob being recognized as a Level 5 C4C-PJJ Instructor. This comprehensive program is specifically designed to teach Law Enforcement Officers proven methods to help keep Officers and the Communities they serve safer. The C4C PJJ curriculum was designed and is overseen by Chad Lyman, 20+ year LEO veteran, 2nd Degree BJJ Black Belt and Coach at Xtreme Couture MMA in Las Vegas.

C4C PJJ is a fundamental principle based curriculum focused on LEO outcomes. The curriculum is written and trained in a systematic manner that encourages learning and retention. The program covers de-escalation, empty hand tactics, weapon based training, team tactics, communication, use of force, instructor development, and other topics. A heavy emphasis is placed on control, grappling, defending against attacks, and team tactics. The C4C PJJ program is designed to allow ongoing training throughout an officer’s career and not be a “one and done” class. Ongoing training helps make officers confident, competent, compassionate and in control- emotionally, mentally, and physically.
